GCPA Graduation 2025 – Honoring graduates, family & staff.
Grand Canyon Private Academy (GCPA) proudly celebrated the Class of 2025 with an in-person commencement ceremony on May 30, honoring the achievements of its graduates, families, and educators.
GCPA Graduation 2025 Highlights
Seniors crossed the stage in celebration of their hard work, resilience, and academic success in a nontraditional learning environment. With the support of GCPA, many graduates completed advanced coursework, earned college credits, and participated in career-readiness programs such as work-based learning, internships, and dual enrollment.
The ceremony featured speeches from Principal Meghan Griffin, keynote speaker and school founder Bouchra Bouanani, student speakers Savannah, Shelby, and valedictorian Reese.

Valedictorian Reese reflected on her time at GCPA, having already earned her associate degree in general education prior to graduation. The flexibility of online learning allowed her to pursue extracurricular activities such as swimming, gymnastics, and volleyball—all while taking college-level courses.
“What I’m most proud of is simply that I did it,” she said. “Looking back, it’s hard to believe how much I’ve accomplished.”
Reese will continue her education at the University of Arizona, where she’ll study at the College of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture (CAPLA).
“I’m so grateful—for this school, for the support, and for everyone who helped me get here,” she shared. “This day isn’t just for me—it’s for all of us who worked so hard to get to this moment.”
Student speakers Savannah and Shelby expressed appreciation for the support and belonging they found at GCPA.
“We found our corner, our family,” Savannah said.
Keynote speaker Bouchra Bouanani shared her journey to founding GCPA.
“I never imagined I would one day be standing here as the founder of a school,” Bouanani said. “My journey took a few plot twists, but here I am.”
Principal Griffin closed the ceremony by thanking parents for choosing a nontraditional path and placing their trust in GCPA.
“You were brave enough to enroll your children when our school was still in its infancy,” she said. “You became pioneers of the school’s legacy.”
With cheers and applause, Principal Griffin led graduates through the symbolic tassel turn, marking the conclusion of their high school journey.
Students from the GCPA graduation class 2025 will go on to attend colleges and begin their careers. No matter the path, they leave with a strong foundation and the confidence to pursue their goals.
