Flexible online learning from GCPA offers an array of educational opportunities for students.

For many families, finding the right flexible online learning can feel overwhelming. Choosing an online school isn’t all about curriculum and accreditation, but about where your kids thrive. As much as we could try to convince you, we turned to the voices of parents and students at Grand Canyon Private Academy to see first-hand what life is really like inside this virtual classroom.

Academic Support & Teacher Engagement

At Grand Canyon Private Academy, the teachers are with you every step of your child’s education. This parent of two years shares her experience with GCPA’s dedicated teachers.

“My daughters have excelled in all areas of education. The teachers are involved fully in the development of all students, and my children receive support they need from their teachers daily … to succeed and progress in their education. The staff responds in a timely manner so there is no frustration between all parties involved. I have never experienced any lack of communication from the school which, once again, reassures me that they have my children’s success as their main priority. I am continuously spreading the word about this amazing online school to all I meet. I feel my children are in a positive, safe environment and are learning curriculum and skills to achieve their future goals. I believe enrolling my two kids into this program was one of the best decisions I have done. I could not be happier.” GCPA parent*

An elementary parent also noted the excellence of the staff.

Flexible Online Learning & Opportunities

If you and your child are looking for a change from traditional education, GCPA offers flexible schedules, endless access to resources and guidance, and discussion-based learning guaranteed to help your child succeed. Especially after Covid-19, online learning can be transformative and give your student the flexibility to grow in ways you never thought possible.

Hear from this parent who found their child began to thrive in GCPA’s learning model.

“I have an 8th and 9th grader that attend Grand Canyon Private Academy. Upon moving to Arizona, it was hard to find a school that fit the needs of my children compared to back home. The classes were truly overcrowded, and the teachers lacked the necessary experience to handle class sizes. During the pandemic my children were transferred between two of Arizona’s online schools, and in 2021 the school they were attending closed down. Mrs. Bouanani decided to open GCPA for students who were interested in real, small class, learning. My kids went from being average students to now outperforming their peers in their district. The teachers are amazing, patient, knowledgeable and they challenge the students to go the extra mile. There is a very high standard for success, but it is achievable with the mass amounts of support. We love this school and will not be leaving until graduation for both kids.” GCPA parent*

College & Future Readiness

“This school provided my child with all the support and opportunities to graduate a year early. She was accepted into every college she applied to, including a UC school, with scholarships and even a full ride. Her teachers, administrators, and the opportunities offered by the school were instrumental in preparing her for college and beyond. She pursued her sport, achieved the highest honors, participated in various competitions, and competed in one of the most prestigious innovation challenges, winning multiple awards in art, photography, and science fairs. We highly recommend this school. The caring staff, the curriculum, and the overall experience were amazing.” GCPA parent*

One parent shared that their daughter is on track to earn her associates degree while at GCPA, a huge accomplishment.

“Our child has flourished through this program! She is on track to earn an associate degree while not missing out on her high school experience with her peers and getting a lot of support from her teachers and administrators.” GCPA parent*

Still not convinced? Just know that your kids will love it too.

“I love this school! It is preparing me for college and beyond. I love attending live sessions, as they are interactive and make me think beyond the reading requirements and testing. Our teachers and friends in the school are simply the best.” GCPA 11th grade student*

From parents celebrating their children’s growth to students enjoying new freedoms of a flexible online school, the story of GCPA is one of opportunity, support, and preparation.
